Filmmaker Stephen Nemeth returns with his newest short Black Friday.

I had the pleasure of catching this as part of the shorts block at Days Of The Dead Charlotte a couple of weeks ago. This is one of the shorts that show the pride DOTD takes in it’s indie film festival.
Clocking in at close the 16 minutes the story centers around The Pursued (Alan Adkins) as viewers see him trying to escape an unseen predator. Will he do whatever it takes to survive?
What makes this work is the story and the sound. Hearing the roar of the engine and the crackle of fire immerses the viewer in the setting and scenario.
If this is playing at a festival near you do not sleep on this. Nemeth is a filmmaker to keep your eye on. I’m excited to see what he does in the future.
