Reviews From The Crypt – Head Case

This week ECHG writer Adam Holtzapfel takes us back to 2007 for a look at Head Case.

Directed & written by Anthony Spadaccini with a cameo by Brinke Stevens this psuedo documentary fails to deliver.

The film is based on the tapes of serial killers Wayne (Paul McKloskey) & Andrea (Barbara Lessin) Montgomery. As they plot and carry out their acts.

Shot in black and white we see how the Montgomery’s go about their daily life while also having a secret.

Clocking in at 200 minutes, I tapped out 30 minutes in. The only thing going for it was the violent acts that looked believable.

I have to give this movie an F, the premise sounded good, but the execution didn’t work. Skip this and watch the August Underground Trilogy and Capture, Kill, Release instead.
