Amazon Prime picks for November 2020

Amazon Prime Picks

As many of you know, I am a fan of Amazon Prime video selections. Let’s take a look at what I’ve been watching. They aren’t all great….

Here’s a list of my picks:

Utopia (TV Series)

This series has strong characters, moments of brutal violence and a McGuffin that was not completely a joke. In particular, Christopher Denhem’s work as a relentless, single minded pursuer, was both chilling and personally engaging. Worth a look. 7/10 https://amzn.to/32pzMOw

Guns Akimbo

Hunger Games. Running Man. Predator. What if the game of cat and mouse…was given to an insect? Great, violent action scenes and some dark gallows humor buoy this film to a fun film! 9/10 https://amzn.to/2U5uRh7

Netflix vs. the World

Interesting history on Netflix’s clawing to the top. Surprising, though, that I could watch it free on Amazon Prime! (Still not available at Blockbuster, though.) 7/10 https://amzn.to/32GE2th

Jasper Mall

Dreadful slice of life documentary on a mall. Behind the scenes with absolutely no surprising revelations or interesting characters. Ugh. Dull. 3/10 https://amzn.to/3n8Mwkj
