Once in a while, I get pretty sick, and tired, of people saying, “They don’t make them like that anymore.”
It’s true, of course, but I get sick of it. Because creativity should always be singular in action. Even the act of “rebooting” or doing a cover song requires some singularity of action.
…but they really don’t make ’em like this anymore.
Crude. Cheap production values. Offensively frank. However, funny.
Damn funny.
If you haven’t ever heard this, be advised. The song is about…well, the title tells you.
Some will say it advocated animal cruelty but I have yet to find the line they are referring to. It just stated that puppies that are no longer with us are no longer fun. I think we can all kind of agree to that simple, universal truth. At least, I hope so.
