Rotating this week into DEAD ON THURSDAYS, we have the next inning of Dead On the Bases. Oddly, we pick all our films in advance and by coincidence, we had the classic Field of Dreams (1989) which I watched (also by coincidence) the very day James Earl Jones passed away.
I’ve been a fan of James Earl Jones and though I think he will most be remembered for his voice work as Darth Vader, the Lion King and the like. I, however, always remember him from this film. He may have had a bigger role in Coming to America, but this is the film I always think of him for. He was truly a force to behold (no pun intended) on screen.
