Review: Machine Baby

This week ECHG writer Adam Holtzapfel shares his thoughts on the short film Machine Baby which played at Nightmares Film Festival.

Machine Baby tells the story of a struggling paparazzo that will stop at nothing to get the story to give him his big break.

Clocking at just over 10 minutes Machine Baby gives viewers a look inside the belly of the beast. With a good story and fx this is sure to please any horror fan. If you are epileptic or prone to seizures you may want to avoid this one.

If you missed this at Nightmares Film Festival, you’ll be able to catch it at Days of the Dead in Chicago on Saturday screening with Compulsion prior to the convention premiere of She Was So Pretty: Be Good For Goodness Sake. You can also catch director Sean Richard Budde as part of the Independent Filmmakers panel at Days of the Dead on Saturday as well.
