This Week In Comics 2-7-2018

This week ECHG writer Adam Holtzapfel gives us a look at what’s in his pull list at the comic shop.

X-Men Gold 21 – Marvel – In this issue the Brotherhood arc begins. Readers see the return of The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, find out what happened to Rachel Summers, and see the X-Men bid farewell to one of their own. This has been one of the better books Marvel has put out in recent years.

Batman 40 – DC – In part 4 of the Superfriends arc we get the second half of the Dark Knight’s team up with Wonder Woman and see if the friendship unravels or can stand the trials they face. This has been a great series with Tom King replacing Scott Snyder after New 52 concluded. This is a must for fans of the caped crusader.

Royal City 10 – Image – Readers get the conclusion to the Sonic Youth arc and are waroed back to 1993 to see the last week of Tommy Pike’s life. Jeff Lemire has brought a haunting tale to the page with Royal City focusing on how the death of Tommy is still affecting members of the Pike clan.

That wraps it up this week, also out in shops are X-Men Red 1, Hatchet 3, Nightwing 38, Batman White Knight 5, Snotgirl 9, and Paper Girls 20.
